  • Hannah Cope joined Ahles Family Law, PC, as a Senior Associate in July of 2025. Ms. Cope brings sharp analytical insight with a deep understanding of the law to navigate the complexities of every type of family dynamic thoughtfully. She applies innovative, personalized strategies to ensure each client receives a solution that reflects their individual needs and circumstances. Hannah is committed to safeguarding her clients' futures, demonstrating empathy and compassion.

    Ms. Cope has over four years of experience in family law. Her practice includes divorce, custody, and post-decree modifications. She has experience litigating issues involving the Uniform Child-Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act (UCCJEA), domestic violence, and common law marriage. Ms. Cope’s commitment and skill have established her reputation as a trusted advocate among clients and colleagues, leading to her inclusion in the 2022 Super Lawyers Rising Stars list.

    Hannah’s passion for law began with her involvement in refugee resettlement organizations in San Diego, where she saw firsthand the transformative power of dedicated advocacy during difficult times. Ms. Cope also has prior experience in civil litigation, intellectual property, securities regulation, and in both federal and state appellate work. Hannah previously served in the Office of Legal Counsel for the Governor of Colorado and the Colorado Attorney General’s Office, where she gained invaluable experience navigating complex legal challenges, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Ms. Cope volunteers her time and expertise as a coach at the University of Colorado Law School for the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Competition.
